What is lanolizing and how to do it?

Linolizing means applying melted linoline to your wool covers in order to archive the best absorbency and to provide a water "barrier". Ideally you will need to lanolize your wool covers every 3-4 washes by adding a teaspoonful of melted lanoline (Lansinoh or PureLan by Medela) to soapy water and soaking them in it for a few minutes. After that, take out the excess water by rolling them up in a towel and lie flat to dry. You are done! Wool covers do not have to be washed at every change (unless soiled) so just air them when wet and they will smell fresh again.

Enjoy!
