Off-topic. Please read.

I watched a movie today, it's called Sharkwater and tells about well.. sharks. But not just sharks - it tells about how millions of them are killed every year for their fins. What I did not know ( and I am sure - lots of people are completely unaware of it too!) is that an estimated 90(!)% of all shark population is already extinguished. The other thing that I didn't know is that over 50% of oxygen in this world is produced by oceans' phytoplankton. Small sea animals eat phytoplankton, and sharks, as top predators control the population of those animals. Now, if (or "when" I should say) the sharks are gone, the overpopulating sea creatures will eat up a lot more of that phytoplankton, meaning LESS oxygen for us. It's that simple.

SHARKWATER

The sharks are caught, their fins are cut off and their bodies (still alive!) are thrown back into the ocean to die...I can't write this without crying...
